Geoffrey Thompson Data Collection Supervisor

Geoff supervises waste auditing teams and leads community engagement for APWC. Geoff has over 20 years of experience in the waste industry as the coordinator of the Waste Management Facility for Lord Howe Island. Geoff has overseen the implementation of the waste strategy for Lord Howe Island which diverts 84% of all waste from landfill. Geoff has been involved in domestic audits of general waste, recycling, garden waste, FOGO, and given his understanding of MRFs has been at the forefront of CDS pilot projects in MRFs in NSW, Queensland and ACT. Geoff has considerable experience in waste water treatment and spent 13 years as a horticulturist.
