Erin started her career in waste with A.Prince Consulting (APC) in 2015 completing data entry. During this time, she also volunteered and eventually worked as the administration manager and junior project officer for Waste Aid Australia, a not for profit organisation established up by Anne Prince. This organisation worked with Aboriginal communities in far western NSW to develop sustainable waste management strategies. This role gave Erin the opportunity to merge her wish for a cleaner environment with her passion for social justice and equal rights.
In 2019, Erin managed one of the largest kerbside waste audits in Australia with APC. Six months of collecting, sorting and logistical management, followed by four months of data analysis and reporting. Erin was also part of the APWC team that went to South Africa in August/September 2019, where she and her colleague assessed 6 of the country’s 8 international ports. Erin also assisted the solid waste team with collections and sorting.
Erin is well versed liaising with multiple stakeholders across complex projects in multiple countries, in addition to excellent project scheduling and planning skills delivering projects on time and within budget. Erin is currently managing projects for IUCN, the World Bank and Tonkin & Taylor International across five countries in the Pacific region; Samoa, Fiji, Vanuatu, Tonga and Kiribati.
Erin brings her determination, project management skills and passion for promoting a clean, safe and equal environment for all people to the team at APWC.
Erin has a Master of Arts (Human Rights/Political Science) and has obtained PRINCE 2 Project Management.
