Eva is a dedicated and experienced environment professional with over 10 years of experience in Sustainability Strategy and reporting, Safety, Environmental and Quality standards auditing, waste and water management strategies, project management, analytical data management and stakeholder engagement.
Eva has experience working with professional services, government, multinational companies and SMEs advising on their sustainability reporting, safety Health Environment and Quality compliance, Climate Change Adaptation Planning, government funding application processes as well as community engagement and waste and recycling education projects.
Eva has previously managed the Tourism Accommodation Australia’s BinTrim program, the compilation and delivery of a multinational environmental services company’s National Greenhouse and Energy Report, Energy Efficiency Opportunities Report and International environmental KPI reporting requirements. Additionally, Eva has looked after its integrated national management system introducing a national audit plan and performing internal audits to ensure recertification.
Eva has returned to APWC after joining the EY Climate Change and Sustainability Services Team for just over a year, where she has worked with Qantas on setting their waste targets and developing and initiating implementation of the Qantas Group waste strategy and managed Emission Reduction Fund Assurance projects.
Eva holds a Master of Environmental Management (UNSW) and a Bachelor of Business Administration majoring in operation research and organisational psychology (Macquarie University). Furthermore, Eva holds provisional auditing accreditations for Environmental and Quality Standards (ISO 14000 and ISO 9000) and was trained as an Authorised Officer under the Protection of the Environment Operations Act.
